Our Team

Janet began her career with Insurance Associates as an agent and went on to manage the agency for several years. In 1995, Janet became President and co-owner. Janet has her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

Jeff began his career as an agent in 1995, when he became co-owner with Jan. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. 

Jan and Jeff are now enjoying retirement, spending time with their four children and eight grandchildren.

After interning at Insurance Associates, Melissa was hired as the in-house accountant after obtaining her accounting degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College. Melissa was promoted to Operations Manager and is now leading as President. Melissa and her husband, Josh, live in Eau Claire with their three children. In her free time, Melissa enjoys kayaking, camping, and going to concerts.

Josh began as an agent with Insurance Associates and was then promoted to Sales Director. Josh earned a marketing degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College. Josh is a lifelong resident of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and lives with his wife Melissa and their three children. Josh enjoys volunteering with the Lions Club, running, and spending time with his family outdoors.

Kayla joined the Insurance Associate team as an administrative assistant, and later obtained her Health and Life Insurance License. Kayla has a paralegal degree from Globe University. Kayla and her husband live in Cameron, Wisconsin with their three children. In her free time Kayla enjoys art, photography, and spending time with her family.

Joshua Moe recently moved to Eau Claire to be closer to his family. He spent his career in sales and operations working for family-owned businesses. He brings those skills to Insurance Associates as a member of our Agent Team. Joshua enjoys reading, gaming, and spending time with his nieces & nephews.

Stephanie joined the Insurance Associates team as an administrative assistant, and loved working with clients so much that she obtained her Health and Life Insurance License to become an agent. Stephanie, a Navy veteran, lives in Menomonie with her partner and their son.  Stephanie enjoys watching the Packers, camping, and spending time on the lake. 

Emily has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of MN, Duluth.  After her first career in education she decided to help families in a new way as a Licensed Insurance Agent. She lives in Altoona with her husband and their two children and enjoys camping, crafting, and baking in her spare time.

Val has been an agent with Insurance Associates for over 35 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Personnel Management.  Val and her husband raised their 2 children in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  In 2021 they moved back to Northwestern Minnesota where they are originally from, to be closer to family.  Val enjoys fishing, gardening, and volunteering in her free time.

Marcy has been an agent with Insurance Associates since 2004. Marcy is from Superior, Wisconsin but has lived in Eau Claire since 1987. Marcy has four children and five grandchildren. In her free time, Marcy enjoys watching her grandchildren participate in sporting events, hunting, reading, and playing cribbage.

Reanna lives in Cameron with her husband and their three children.  Reanna loves fishing, camping, and hiking with her family.

Marybeth joined Insurance Associates after retiring from the City of Eau Claire with 30 years of service. She lives in Eau Claire with her husband.  She enjoys spending her time with her 4 children and her 7 grandchildren and likes live music, camping and kayaking. 

Cherie joined Insurance Associates as an administrative assistant and since then has become our Office Manager.  Cherie lives in Elk Mound with her husband.  She enjoys spending time with their five children and 11 grandchildren and likes to garden and fish in her spare time.
